"Sled Dog Heroes" 85 years ago, a pack of sled dogs became unlikely heroes during the outbreak of another infectious disease. (clue: the event was in 1925) 2. In what state does the Iditarod take place? Can you find Anchorage and Nome on a map? 3. What do these words mean: musher, dogsled 4. Why do animal rights groups worry about the Iditarod?
