Your dream may be to go camping, to be a star on the basketball court, to be class president, or to go to college someday. Whatever it is, hard work and luck can help you fulfill that dream. But, like the narrator of “The Scholarship Jacket,” you may encounter obstacles that block your progress.

Make at least three entries that show before, during, and after the event. Remember that the characters thoughts and feelings are very important in a diary.

Do these exercises alone or grab a family member to do your exercises with you. Start with the middle square and then make one other choice each day this week.

First, have your child do some warm up stretches: 10-15 arm circles (front and backwards), 15 jumping jacks, running in place for 30 seconds, 10 leg squats, 10 push ups and sit ups then go to GoNoodle and have your child pick a couple of PE/Dance videos.

Create a book jacket for the story “The Scholarship Jacket”. Use the digital tool of your choice or the artistic medium of your choice (draw, paint, etc…) Remember to include a summary about the story and an eye catching cover image.
