Move & Freeze

Take your family and go on a walk to observe nature. Use the Seek app to take pictures of and learn about plant and animal species near your home.

Use the Seek by iNaturalist app or just take a photo of a natural plant or animal near your home. This activity is geared to encourage outdoor exploration of wild biodiversity (rather than pets, zoo animals, or garden plants).

Upload your photo by April 29, 2020 and write a short explanation of why you chose that photo to share. Was it something new you found? Was it something that has been there a long time but you never knew the name of it until now? Or is it just your favorite photo? You will be required to sign in with your school Google account in order to complete this form and submit.

Make your own recycle bin or signs for at home recycling! use an old box or extra trash can to recycle in. make a sign for plastic recycling and one for cans.
