Work with your student on shopping through an ad. At this link, you will find three different Ads that they can match prices to items by the store. Work on the dollar up- knowing how many whole dollars are needed for something that has change. 

Science

This 3-minute video explains the science behind anxiety. It is a normal biological response – called “Fight, Flight, Freeze” – that can get triggered inappropriately in the modern world.

De-stress with this 15-minute Yoga for Beginners Class.

First, have your child do some warm-up stretches: 10-15 arm circles (front and backward), 15 jumping jacks, running in place for 30 seconds, 10 leg squats, 10 push-ups, and sit-ups then go to GoNoodle and have your child pick a couple of PE/Dance videos.

At Home Stress Ball, all you need is a balloon(2), scissors, rice.

Step 1: take 1 balloon, fill with uncooked rice until it is the size of a plum.

Step 2: tie the end of the balloon.

Step 3: cut the tail off the second balloon, placing the tied end of balloon one inside the second. should see the top of balloon 1 popping out of the cut edge of balloon 2.

Step 4: squeeze when stressed.
