Last Friday was the 51st anniversary of the successful Apollo 11 mission which allowed the first man to walk on the moon. Today is the 50th anniversary of the explosion inside Apollo 13 which kept that mission from landing on the moon. Since that time, the Apollo 13 mission has come to be known as a “successful failure”. In 2-3 paragraphs, explain why the Apollo 13 mission was a successful failure. Give examples to prove your ideas.
Look at a USA map and find the state Texas and then find the city Houston. Once you find Houston, Texas, write or trace over the letters on a piece of paper: Houston, we’ve had a problem!

First, have your child do some warm up stretches: 10-15 arm circles (front and backwards), 15 jumping jacks, running in place for 30 seconds, 10 leg squats, 10 push ups and sit ups then go to GoNoodle and have your child pick a couple of PE/Dance videos.
It might be hard to imagine, as we go about our normal lives (and our abnormal Covid 19 quarantine lives), that there are currently cosmonauts from all over the world orbiting over our heads in the International Space Station.
