10 little lady bugs

Before listening to 10 Little Lady Bugs find 10 small objects for your child to follow along with.

Objective: Understanding of language using objects to do simple math operations.

Draw an air vehicle

Talk to your child about the different types of air transportation they used in the sorting activity yesterday and ask the student to draw a picture of their favorite one.

Objective: Children will learn to pick up, hold, aim/place, and move a written instrument.

Lady Bug/Flying Bug hunt

Explore outside to find flying bugs.

Objective: Inquiry through observation and investigation, Children will investigate living things, expanding knowledge of the natural world

A light to the World

Parents can help children find an appropriate candle, or flashlight as a way to demonstrate that they are a light to the World, and to demonstrate a thank-you to first responders. Snapping a picture and posting it would be nice so we can see their lights.

Frozen Yoga

Watch the “Frozen Yoga “video in its entirety. Next time have your child practice just a few poses, stopping the video after each pos. The next day, have your child increase the number of poses. Continue for the week.

Where You Live

Take a walk around where you live. Bring a bag or bucket and collect items during your walk. Discuss where you live, what lives around you, and what your child collected.

Objective: Sense of place. The child demonstrates increased awareness of the characteristics of physical environments and connections among their attributes, including the people and activities in them.
