Scientific Notation helps write large numbers in a shorter format. For example, it helps write the numbers that represent the vast distances in space! Watch this video and try writing some of these examples in scientific notation:

Aril 7th will be a Super Moon. Go outside tonight and look toward the east. The moon will start to rise at about 7:30pm and will be at it’s highest point in the sky at midnight.
